This will be a two year position and will assist the UGArden Farm Manager with managing an organic student farm; assist with supervising student interns and volunteers in carrying out daily farm work; operate and maintain typical farm equipment; and support educational and outreach efforts of the farm.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Farm or outdoor work experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of crop production practices.
- Experience supervising volunteers, students, or workers.
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions; frequently required to operate farm equipment and use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.Is driving required to perform essential duties outlined in this position?
