Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; maintaining an active research/scholarly program; conducting field liaison work; supervising graduate students, participation in department, college, university and professional activities; providing service and outreach activities; and participating in curriculum and program development.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Social Work or a related field or its foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. The doctoral degree must be conferred at the time of application submission. Applicants for this position must have an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program (or a foreign equivalent approved by CSWE), and a minimum of 5-years post-MSW direct practice experience. A clinical license in social work (LCSW) from the State of Georgia or equivalent from another state is strongly preferred. All applicants should show evidence of a research agenda, a commitment to working with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching and practicum supervision. Candidates with clinical practice experience as well as competence in both bachelor’s and master’s level instruction will be given priority.
