Seeking tenure track resident faculty with teaching experience and established programs of research to teach in graduate programs. We are specifically seeking experienced family or psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners to teach in our advanced practice programs. The Capstone College of Nursing has over 2,000 students enrolled in programs leading to BSN, MSN, DNP, EdD and PhD degrees. At the MSN level, we offer concentrations for Case Managers, Clinical Nurse Leaders, Nurse Administrators, Family Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Our interdisciplinary EdD program is designed specifically for nurse educators; and is jointly taught by faculty with expertise in nursing and education. A new online PhD in Nursing Science is offered in collaboration with the University of Alabama Huntsville College of Nursing.

A research focused doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, two years teaching experience, and an established program of research are required. Preference will be given to candidates with current research funding. FNP or PMHNP certification required for those who teach in our NP programs.
