Overview
Under the lead of the Director of Recruitment and CRM Administrator the Recruitment and Outreach Specialist will provide administrative support and operational coordination for EL's Recruitment and CRM team. Primary areas of responsibility are to provide admission information for prospective EL students; transition program/admissions applications to EL's Student Services; provide information to prospective and continuing students in response to inquiries; and support annual enrollment goals and outreach efforts.

Primarily, the incumbent is responsible for informing the general public including, but not limited to, prospective applicants, parents, faculty, and administration on admission-related issues; and participating in various recruitment activities. The position reviews admissions requirements with prospective students and provides general guidance regarding admission to EL programs. In partnership with the EL's Student Services, the incumbent serves as resource to the external community: high school and community college counselors and representatives from other universities. As an essential part of the EL team, the Recruitment and Outreach Specialist is responsible for assisting inquiries, applicants and students in a professional and efficient manner, and to adhere to all protocols in line with CSUSM and EL goals and values.

Full-time, temporary position with benefits ending on or before June 30, 2020. This position may continue beyond June 30, 2020, upon the availability of funds.

CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,179 - $5,942 per month
