Posts journal entries, processes payments, verifies information, files and assists in the preparation of reports.Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Scope
Performs repetitive tasks within general or specialized accounting functions of a department.
Performs routine and repetitive accounting duties under close supervisor with specific instructions.
Checks matching payments to accounts receivable, plus invoice and purchase order items.
Requirements
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must attach resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view).
Must be able to use a 10-key calculator by touch.
Requires good eye sight and manual dexterity.
Should understand basic account procedures.
Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
