UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI, DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE, CARDIOVASCULAR DIVISION

The Cardiovascular Division of the Department of Medicine at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine is seeking applications for Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist Cardiooncology. The Cardiovascular Division is actively recruiting a cardiologist with clinical expertise in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation with a proven record of research and teaching to join a thriving program. The candidate must be well trained in all aspects of general, clinical cardiology, have completed an Advanced Fellowship in Heart Failure, and be BC/BE in Cardiovascular Diseases and BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure. The position will entail inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management of patients referred for transplant evaluation, post-transplant care. VAD management and long term follow up of non-transplant patients with advanced heart failure. Additionally, the physician will perform procedures including endomyocardial biopsy and cardiac catheterization.

The ideal candidate will be needed to create novel protocols for heart failure care at UHealth Tower, Develop a multidisciplinary Heart Failure team, and collaborate with the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to develop a cardio oncology program.
