Department Florida Center for Interactive MediaResponsibilities Implement the overall project interface design ensuring the work of the project team aligns with established project style guide and protocols.

Leads project style guide development by applying instructional design models and graphic design principles that integrate learning theory, best practices, and appropriate technology and learner needs. Provides recommendations for course design and development to include interface design, course architecture, and navigation.

Program projects based on established curriculum or project documents utilizing various instructional and technology strategies. Manage functionality of projects, which includes making updates to current and previous projects.

Creating, editing, and organizing digital assets and resources for projects, such as photos, videos, graphics, and animations. Participating in video or photo shoots. As needed, create project resource materials, instructional documents utilizing various instructional methods and assessment strategies, and/or provide evidence of course content and assessment alignment with learning objectives.

Manages individual projects. When needed, liaisons with clients to ensure their needs are fully understood, develops work timelines to meet deliverable due dates, and works in conjunction with design team to implement project development.Qualifications Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education or other related degree and two years of experience.

Experience developing instructional materials.

Experience creating and editing digital assets and resources with the purpose of educating an audience.

Experience ensuring a team produces work based on project specifications.

Ability to understand and interpret educational needs and to develop effective instructional media solutions.

Knowledge of web design & development and current media technology and trends.

Knowledge of graphic layout techniques and art in digital format.

Skill in analyzing & determining the most appropriate media for creation of graphic images.

Ability to interpret technical and artistic designs & create a final product.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Soft Money Funded Position This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
