USC Sumter is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in History to begin August 2019 to teach a combination of History 111 (United States History I) and History 112 (United States History II) or History 101 (European Civilization from Ancient Times to the Mid-17th Century) and History 102 (European Civilization from the Mid-17th Century) in the Richland or Lexington area. Teaching experience in post-secondary education desired. Experience teaching the above-named courses or their equivalent is a plus. This appointment is on a course-by-course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline.


Candidates must have either a completed Ph.D. or be currently pursuing a Ph.D. with at least 18 graduate hours in History and specific coursework in the field being taught.
