The Student Services Program Coordinator provides assistance to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services at the School of Medicine-Columbia. The duties include maintaining academic files of all medical students, recording of grades in the Banner system and filing evaluations, registering all first-year through fourth-year students for courses, coordinating and maintaining third and fourth-year schedules using OASIS software, coordinating visiting student program. Prepares statistical reports. Assists in the overall duties of the office.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year related experience in a student services field.Preferred Qualifications
Three years of experience in an academic setting working with students. Knowledge of and experience with Web-based scheduling preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentially and possess strong organizational skills. Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office components. Ability to work independently. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, students, parents, and the general public.
