Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

This position normally requires the teaching of 24 credit hours year, but to facilitate scholarship, tenure-track faculty receive a three (3) credit-hour reduction and typically teach twelve (12) credit hours in the fall and nine (9) in the spring, including evening a and distributed-learning courses, as needed. Responsibilities include a commitment to scholarship and university/community service. Internal funding for scholarship is available. Summer teaching is available, depending on funding and curricular need. Preference will be given to candidates who have documented effective teaching at the university level, including experience gained during the course of pursuing a graduate degree.
