The Culinary Institute of America has been inspiring excellence for over seven decades. The CIA, renowned for its culinary and hospitality education since 1946, has four campus locations. Our primary location is in historic Hyde Park, NY approximately 90 miles from New York City.

The CIA is seeking candidates to fill adjunct positions for our history and culture courses in the School of Liberal Arts and Food Studies, for the fall 2019 semester: History and Cultures of Europe, History and Cultures of Asia, and History and Cultures of the Americas.

Courses are classroom-based at our Hyde Park, NY campus; the successful candidates must be able to travel to campus for each class session. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree in the history, humanities, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in area specialization.
• One (1) year college-level teaching experience.
• Experience with Moodle.
