    Supports the numerous functional areas and academic chairs and deans with processing scheduling requests in MDConnectWorks with academic departments and campus administration to assign academic spaces for classes and eventsEnsures adherence with academic schedule development timeline and assists with all scheduling processesServes as a liaison between admissions, advisement, academic and continuing education departmentsAssists with running scheduling reports used to maximize class scheduling, utilization, scheduling accuracy, and correcting scheduling errors prior to student enrollment Assists with identifying scheduling discrepancies and provides solutions based on established guidelines Communicates scheduling request discrepancies to academic departments and escalates issues to Academic Scheduling Coordinators as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Associates degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of academic scheduling or related clerical experience in a fast paced or large office environment; or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • All degrees must be from a reginally accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives and policies and proceduresProficiency with 25Live and PeopleSoft Campus SolutionsProficiency with Microsoft Office software with strong Excel skills that allow for the interpretation of complex reportsExcellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to take initiative, work independently and meet College scheduling deadlinesAbility to work as part of a college-wide team that serves multiple constituents including academic, student and non-credit areasAbility to identify scheduling errors and make sound judgement to resolve the issueAbility to understand the course catalog and interpret its components to ensure scheduling accuracyAbility to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
