The School seeks highly-qualified applicants for a nine-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in Hospitality and Tourism Administration. The successful candidate must have, the ability to work collaboratively with multiple diverse stakeholders, experience using instructional technology, and the capacity to engage students in their teaching. The primary instructional focus is at the undergraduate level. All areas of specialization are encouraged to apply. The position is available August 2019 or until filled.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Faculty teach in face-to-face and online environments, conduct and publish scholarly research, and participate in professional and university service. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in hospitality and tourism management, and other courses related to the applicant’s education and experience.Minimum Education/Experience
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Hospitality Management or a related field from an ACPHA or AACSB accreditated program and possess relevant industry experience; relevant teaching experience is required, both in face-to-face and online modalities. Candidates must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, continuous improvement as evidenced by professional development, a demonstrated record of research, and service to the community and profession.Licenses or Certification required by Statute or Regulation
