DescriptionReporting to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Enrollment Services at Temple University Ambler (TUA), the Enrollment Coordinator will assist with the implementation of recruitment and retention plans and activities for the TUA undergraduate student population. The incumbent will communicate directly with prospective students and applicants, and work closely with the team to devise new tactics to generate and convert quality leads into enrolled students.  The Coordinator will help develop, organize, implement and evaluate (on and off-campus) recruitment, retention and enrollment plans and events/presentations including: Open Houses, Saturday Preview Days, Admitted Student events and New Student Orientations at Ambler Campus, and serve as the primary campus liaison to local high schools.
The Coordinator will also manage the TUA Owl Ambassador Program, which includes the hiring, training, scheduling, time-keeping, and day-to-day supervision of campus student workers. In addition to the above, the Coordinator will support various marketing initiatives including digital communications as needed. Additional responsibilities include cross training among other Academic and Student Services offices and collaborating with staff to ensure that Temple Ambler students are supported from initial recruitment throughout their enrollment at TUA. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years related experience in an educational setting, specifically in sales, admissions or enrollment management. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:*Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.*Ability to make presentations to various size groups—in person and online*Ability to assist and/or manage events of various sizes*Strong proficiency in computer systems and applications such as MS Office Suite and Google Docs*Demonstrated experience using Excel to collect, sort and analyze data*Ability to demonstrate flexibility and be a team player*Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively and to manage multiple priorities*Ability to work nights/weekends/early mornings and overtime, as needed.*Ability to travel to locations that may not be accessible via public transportation
PREFERRED:*Knowledge of Temple systems such as Banner, Cognos, Web Ex and Kronos*Familiarity with email marketing and social media platforms
