Nature of Work

Create professional-level photography and video that reflects and supports the overall brand strategy of UWG, as well as supporting the printed and electronic communications and marketing materials created by UCM. Areas of coverage will include, but are not limited to, academics, research, student life, athletics, music and theatre, and community involvement.
Work closely with the Director of Photography and Video to determine projects, create scripts and storyboards, attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned – some of which will occur during evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications

Technical or Associates degree and two or more years of related experience – or Bachelors degree and one year of related experience. Proven expertise in Photoshop and/or Lightroom, as well as NLE video editors such as Premiere and/or Final Cut X.

Preferred Qualifications

This experience should include proven expertise in photography and video production; camcorder and DSLR camera controls; lighting techniques for video and photography; and audio capture for video and audio editing.

Salary

$17.14/hourly (minimum) to $22.38/hourly (midpoint)

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Must be able to travel to off locations which may include outdoor environments. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
