Associate Director of Operations, Duke Engage

Job description

The Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University is seeking an Associate Director of Operations, DukeEngage to oversee the day-to-day operations of DukeEngage which provides opportunities for Duke undergraduates to tackle real-world problems and develop the valuable skills and knowledge that result from an immersive experience connected to the academic mission of the university. The Associate Director will develop and implement efficient operations to support student participation, work with KIE leadership and the program’s advisory board to develop strategic plans, oversee risk management and quality assurance. This is a full-time exempt position with salary and benefits. This position supervises all DukeEngage staff and reports to the Associate Director of the Kenan Institute for Ethics.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRES: Work requires communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Master's degree program. PhD preferred. Five years of experience in international based program development, assessment, research or related work required. OR ANY OTHER EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OREXPERIENCE.
