Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit

The Department of Teacher Education and Higher Education in the School of Education at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor for equity education in teacher education. The School of Education is committed to advancing access to life’s opportunities by providing transformative learning, leading innovation and discovery, engaging communities, and promoting equity and diversity. In its perpetual engagement with equity, diversity, and inclusion the School of Education is constantly honing the structures and goals that affirm our commitment to transformational and critical engagement with ideas around justice oriented educational praxis.

The BRIDGES project will engage diverse middle school youth and their teachers with out-of-school, problem-based learning that demands science, engineering, and computing as tools to address environmental problems.
