Job Details
It is the mission of the Department of Pediatrics, East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, to provide exemplary medical education/training of physicians in pediatric medicine at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, it is the mission of the department to provide model comprehensive primary and consultative subspecialty care to children of eastern North Carolina, to advance scientific knowledge through basic and clinical research, and to provide continuing medical education opportunities for physicians in the region.
Job DutiesThe Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time individual to join the Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease.
Rank/title and salary are commensurate with experience and training.
Responsibilities include resident and student teaching, clinical consultation for inpatients and the management of HIV and other infectious diseases in an outpatient clinic setting.
Opportunities for research, clinical trials, infection control, and epidemiological students available, but not required.
Minimum Education/ExperienceMD or DO degree from an appropriately accredited institution and Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
Completed an approved fellowship training program in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
License or Certification Required by Statute or RegulationMust be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
