Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Conducting and Ensembles seeks qualified individuals for an Adjunct Instructor for Spring 2019.

The anticipated need is for an Adjunct Instructor whose duties include: Teach graduate advanced orchestral conducting; Conduct one performance of the University Symphony Orchestra; Supervise MM and DMA orchestral conducting majors in their readings, rehearsals and concerts; Function as instructor of record for the University Symphony Orchestra and Graduate Conducting course

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Music; Experience at the college/university level running an orchestral program

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with professional orchestras
Experience teaching conducting
