Position Description:
University of Northern Iowa's College of Business Administration seeks applicants for a term Instructor position in the Departments of Accounting and Management to begin in August 2019. Courses will include a combination of CPA Regulation Review, Legal Concepts for Accountants, Business Law, Legal and Social Environment of Business and similar courses. This individual will be involved in course coordination, student recruitment, advising and retention activities. In addition, Instructors are expected to maintain their professional licensure and significantly engage with the legal profession. Applicants will find a collegial work environment at UNI.

Education Requirements:
An earned J. D. from a nationally or internationally recognized university required.
Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications include admission to a state bar and current licensure; demonstration of ongoing engagement with the legal profession; a record of excellence in teaching at the university level; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; and experience teaching a law review or CPA review course and law for accounting majors.
Desirable Qualifications:

Preferred experience include online teaching experience; evidence of ability to create an engaged and applied classroom environment; and evidence of ability to advance the academic, professional and personal success of students.
