This initiative was developed though an endowment from the Weiland Foundation with the intent of promoting mental health and wellness across all genders and sexualities through training, education, and psychotherapy. The position is located at the Vaden Health Center, a unit of the Division of Student Affairs.
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide management of endowment-based program promoting mental health and wellness across all genders and sexualities through offering/overseeing teaching and training programs, as well as provide individual, and/or group counseling and psychotherapy, crisis intervention, clinical consultation, outreach programming, and supervision of pre-doctoral interns, post-doctoral fellows, and psychiatry residents.
CORE DUTIES*:
- Frequently sit, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally stand, walk, twist, use fine manipulation, grasp, use a telephone, write by hand, sort and file paperwork, lift, carry, push, and rarely pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
