This position assists the CCI Associate Director for Translational Sciences Operations with the translational, regulatory, and operational aspects for the initiation, conduct, oversight, and data analysis of cell and gene therapy clinical trials. These trials include first in humans through Phase II clinical development in collaboration with industry partners or otherwise. The Scientific Program Manager will work in a highly cross-functional environment and will interact with clinical personnel for the development of clinical protocols and other regulatory documents. The Scientific Program Manager will also interact with CCI laboratories and cell therapy manufacturing facility for completion of human samples analysis. The Scientific Program Manager will provide project specific leadership, direction to drive trial timelines, and participate in the management of intellectual property. This position will manage the CCI’s relationship with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and potentially other foundations or bio-pharmaceutical companies. Lastly, the Scientific Program Manager will participate in budget management, planning and reporting for specific projects assigned to the position.Qualifications
A Master’s Degree or more and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Concentration on immunology or oncology preferred
The successful candidate will have knowledge in the field of cell and gene therapy and will be familiar with early-stage clinical trial design.
Strong interpersonal skills are a must and candidate should be comfortable giving scientific presentations to a scientifically diverse audience.
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as citation software (EndNote preferred) and data analysis/presentation programs (i.e. GraphPad).
