Working TitleAssistant Professor Computer Information SystemsJob Summary

The College of Business Administration (COBA) at Savannah State University invites qualified applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of Computer Information Systems. This position provides quality lectures in Information Systems to undergraduate/ graduate students, and supports the College in projects, programs and activities. Provides leadership and guidance to students in departmental projects and activities and assists them in meeting business related educational and career objectives. Engages in professional and community services at the departmental, college and university level; conducts quality publishable research in Information Systems. May be directed to perform job related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate/ABD status in Computer Information Systems or related field from an AACSB accredited or internationally recognized research institution and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional and academic experience is required. In addition, experience conducting assessment of Teaching and Learning.
