Description
The UCLA Interdepartmental Program in Indo-European Studies invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer position for the academic year 2019-20, pending Dean's budget approval. The position is open to candidates able to teach introductory and advanced courses in Indo-European historical linguistics, as well as courses in elementary and advanced Hittite (and other ancient Anatolian languages, such as Luwian and Lycian).
Applicants are required to hold a PhD by the start of the appointment, and preference will be given to those who have demonstrated effectiveness in lecture courses. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching and research.
