This position resides in the Executive Education department. The mission of the Executive Education department is to use GSB faculty ideas to inspire global leaders to change their thinking and drive positive impact throughout their organizations.



In this role, you will manage all reporting and analytics and be responsible for building dashboards and fulfilling requests for analytics from other stakeholders such as leadership, programs staff and marketing leads. In order to do this, you will own all the systems and processes around collecting, maintaining, analyzing and reporting on funnel customer data residing in our core CRM systems as well as traffic and conversion information. You will build the foundation for analyzing full funnel metrics, including omnichannel attribution and other KPIs such as number of new names, applications, cost per name, cost per application and return on investment to inform marketing campaign optimizations and evaluating the effectiveness of our demand generation efforts. This will include admit analysis, post-mortem analysis, and business review.

Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Building reports and dashboards for email audience, data mining, and analytics within the Salesforce platform
  • Working on Data-warehouse efforts and writing specifications for Data Extraction and load
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements for data reports and analytics, analyzing requirements, developing recommendations for best approaches and offering best practices for implementation
  • Supporting efforts to improve volume and quality of names to database through lead scoring and MQL tracking
  • Analysis of the full marketing funnel metrics (using Google Analytics, CRM, data warehouse, tableau and other tools) to evaluate performance of various campaigns, channels and overall strategy
  • Producing planned analytics such as business reviews, program postmortems, admit analysis and ROI analysis
  • Managing work deadlines effectively and efficiently and escalating any concerns and/or changes proactively with various stakeholders
  • Assisting with technical testing of various Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud system components
  • Identifying issues and proactively working with relative parties to ensure resolution of issues
  • Assisting the Email Specialist with cloning and building of Marketing Cloud Journeys
  • Assessing market opportunities and tracking market trends, and recommending marketing improvements based on finding
  • Managing vendors/consultants on specific projects
  • Driving towards email operational efficiency and consistency
  • Overseeing interns and other contingent staff
  • Providing marketing training and user support as needed
  • Other duties may also be assigned

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, and Marketing Automation system as well as relational database systems, ETL technologies and methodologies, and data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Strong ability to build relationships across sales, IT, operations and marketing
  • Strong marketing analytical skills and demonstrated experience in metrics, analyzing data, creating reports, assessing campaign performance and optimizing in real time when possible.
  • Data management experience in areas such as data quality initiatives, joining data from disparate systems and finding new ways to provide data consumers easy access to the information they need
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness
  • Creativity, problem-solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and good decision-making
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Experienced in working independently as well as in a team setting
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by productively engaging and influencing cross-functional teams
