The Division of Adult & Continuing Education seeks and employs adjunct faculty throughout the year for instructional roles in Gainesville, Corinth, Bowie and Graham.

We are currently seeking instructors for our Workforce Training Courses. The purpose of this position is to teach college courses as listed in current Logistics curriculum and provide related services, such as academic advising, committee participation, professional development, community development and others as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:
•Demonstrate an understanding of the various roles in the global supply chain logistics life cycle
•Demonstrate an understanding of the logistics environment
•Identify and use equipment utilized in the field
•Practice safety principles in the handling of materials and operating of equipment
•Practice quality control principles

Rate of pay: $27 per hour

Subject to criminal background check. Resume required in addition to application.

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED

Required Skills & Abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Microsoft Office proficient.

Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences
Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.

Preferred Skills & Abilities Required Experience

Five years of supply chain logistics experience with supervisory roles a plus.

Preferred Experience

Prefer community college teaching experience.
