Job Description
The Duke Global Education Office is seeking a non-Duke student in the NCCU-Duke summer communications internship program to support academic program marketing and student recruitment for study away programs, primarilythrough content marketing. Responsibilities will include: (1) Content Aggregation: Using GEO’s official social media accounts, engage with Duke students on their summer study away programs and republish student content on GEO’s official channels as appropriate. Monitor analytics to formulate recommendations for GEO’s social media strategy. (2) Content Migration: Migrate and reformat existing blog posts to adopt new styling. (3) Content Curation: Find articles and infographics related to study abroad, international education, and co-curricular engagement, and republish for GEO’s audience(s). (4) Writing & Research: Conduct interviews with GEO’s international education professionals and author blog posts for various constituencies. (5) Other tasks as assigned.
