We are currently accepting applications for a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Charles L. Brown Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Virginia. 

We are seeking a qualified candidate with expertise in the research and development of integrated photonics fabrication, and nonlinear optics in high-Q microresonators.  The research associate will be working on both the development of semiconductor photonics circuits integration and microresonator-based frequency combs. 

QUALIFCATION REQUIRMENTS: A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics is required by the start date.  Experience with photolithography, reactive ion etching, SEM and wafer dicing is required. The candidate should have expertise in the high-Q microresonator fabrication, and microresonator measurements.  The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and meet project goal deadlines.
