The Department of Electrical Engineering has an opening for a postdoctoral or more senior research associate in networking/security systems at Princeton University under Professor Prateek Mittal . The group has a track record of fundamental research with visible impact in practice, through industry partnership, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship. Previous postdocs with the Princeton EDGE Lab and INSPIRE Lab have been successful with academia, industry, and startup careers. We seek outstanding candidates with hands-on systems skills in computer networks (wired networks, wireless networks, mobile applications, distributed systems) and computer security & privacy. Individuals interested in bridging the gap between theory and practice by exploring fundamental architectures to build real systems are particularly encouraged to apply. Appointments will be for one year with renewal based on performance. Applicants should have (or be close to obtaining) a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related areas.
