The Division of Accounting, Finance, MIS, and Economics in the College of Business at Governors State University seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Finance beginning in August 2019. Visiting Professors will be appointed for a specific period of time, normally one year. This temporary faculty position’s primary duties will emphasize teaching responsibilities but may also encourage research and service activities. There may be the potential for this position to transition to a tenure track position.

-ABD in Finance or closely related area
-Ability to teach introductory and advanced coursework in finance for undergraduate and graduate programs.
-Meets college faculty qualification standards for AACSB
-PhD in Finance or closely related area
-Documented record of teaching experience at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
-Ability/Interest to teach online.
-Professional experience or certifications.
