Job Purpose: Oversee large programs with a cross-functional nature. Manage and assist with the development of these credit and non-credit programs through administrative support, recruitment efforts, data analysis, and education.  

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of large, cross-functional credit programs (e.g., online undergraduate program, online masters degrees, professional masters degrees) and non-credit programs (e.g., professional education courses) throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Compile and respond to data requests to facilitate recommendations that address potential and existing Institute- and unit-level challenges.
  • Develop data analysis, financial modeling, and benchmarking for existing and new program opportunities.
  • Design, develop and maintain tools and processes for portfolio management and enterprise-level tracking.
  • Administer credit/non-credit unit director meetings and ongoing communication.
  • Serve as the program's main point of contact for internal stakeholders, faculty and students.
  • Develop business plans for program growth, in coordination with director of professional master's, academic program directors and faculty.
  • Produce program budgets to ensure that revenue, and expenses are accurately reflected and forecast.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Work Experience: Eight to ten years of job related experience.

  • Skills: Specialized skills required for this job: This job requires excellent communication and presentation skills. Expertise in problem solving, customer service, relationship building, project management, planning, finances, service delivery, and developing process documentation also is necessary.

  • Preferred Skills: This position will require experience working with academic program directors, faculty, and key stakeholders to manage and grow online graduate programs.  Seeking candidates who possess experience in all aspects of program management – recruitment, admissions, enrollment management and student services. Skills in accounting, financial analysis, problem solving, customer service, and developing process documentation.  Knowledge in Salesforce or comparable CRM. Strong presentation skills in small and large groups.  Comfort in leading and participating in cross-functional teams within programs and across campus. Prior experience managing and leading teams.
  • Additional Information: This position will serve as the program’s main point of contact for internal stakeholders, faculty and students.  The incumbent will develop business plans for program growth, in coordination with director of professional master’s, academic program directors and faculty.  The role also will produce program budgets with director of professional master’s and academic program directors and working with accounting staff to ensure that revenue, and expenses are accurately reflected and forecast.    Impact & Influence: This position will report to the Director who manages online degree programs. This position will work within cross-functional team and have direct reports. The role will advise, counsel, and interact on a regular basis with: Institute management, staff, and faculty. This position will supervise.
