S/he is responsible for planning and conducting classes for FSUS students, for academic advising and related activities, and for assisting with student supervision. Attendance is required at staff conferences and curriculum development activities, with required involvement in action research, creative endeavors and service.
Plan and implement lessons in the subject area assigned. Assess students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Work with students to challenge them to improve their abilities, and proactively address academic needs. Closely monitors learning progress and communicate proactively with families.
Participates in professional development and research as required and aligned with the mission of FSUS as a developmental research school.Qualifications Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Degree
Certification or proof of a Statement of Eligibility for State of Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate in Spanish K-12 or World Language.

FSUS salary scale is approved through collective bargaining and is based on education and experience.Pay Plan This is a Faculty position.Schedule There are 191 actual workdays with 8 hours each day.
Some summer work may be required.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting, with the cost being the responsibility of the successful candidate.
