GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Kirkwood Community College seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our adjunct faculty team as a Design Build Technology Instructor in our Architecture and Construction Management programs. The successful candidate will have:
- A background in construction, architecture, OR construction materials sales/supply;
- Experience with building construction estimation;
- Experience with PDF editing software, "Bluebeam Revu" is preferred;
- Experience with manual (paper and pencil) take-off;
- Experience with digital take-off programs, "On-Screen Takeoff" OR "Bluebeam Revu" are preferred.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:
Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- 3-years relevant experience. Associates degree or higher is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Teaching at a college level or experience in industrial training.
