The University of Virginia Department of Drama invites applications to fill a non-tenure-track Lecturer position during the 2019-20 academic year. Duties are to teach three courses per semester on techniques and aesthetics for media design and video projection in the performing arts, including dance and theater. A Terminal degree in a relevant field is preferred, however, equivalent professional experience will be considered. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in applying advanced digital media technologies in performing arts environments, a strong portfolio of creative work in the field, and a commitment to teaching. College-level teaching experience is also preferred.
