Muscatine Campus - Agriculture - Minimum Qualifications:  Possess a baccalaureate or higher in the field of agriculture or have a combination of education, training, or at least 6,000 hours of relevant tested experience in the field of instruction in which the instructor teaches classes.  165 Day Contract

Scott Campus - Biology - Minimum Qualifications:  Master of Science degree in Biology or a related field with sufficient graduate hours to teach courses in biology according to Iowa state guidelines.  A background in fields that provide a foundation in the specific subject matter is required.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.   165 Day Contract

Scott Campus - Biology/Environmental Science - Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Biology or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biology (all types), Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Horticulture, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Science Education, Virology, or Zoology.  Coursework must contain graduate semester hours in a combination that provides a foundation for teaching courses in both biology and environmental science.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.  203 Day Contract

Muscatine Campus - Biology - Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:  Master's degree in Biology or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biology (all types), Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Horticulture, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Science Education, Virology, and Zoology. Twelve hours must be in Biology. A background in fields that provide a foundation in the specific subject matter is required.  203 Day Contract

Multi Campus - Biology - Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Biology or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biology (all types), Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Horticulture, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Science Education, Virology, and Zoology. Twelve hours must be in Biology. This position will be teaching Anatomy and Physiology courses as part of their load and an Advanced degree to practice medicine with foundational graduate coursework in Anatomy and Physiology, such as D.O. (Osteopathic Medicine), D.D.S. (Dental Surgery), D.C.M. (Chiropractic Medicine, D.P.T. (Physical Therapy), D.V.M. (Veterinary Medicine), M.D. (Medicine), M.S.N. (Nursing), M.P.H. (Public Health), N.P. (Nurse Practitioner), P.A. (Physician Assistant), or M.S. in Kinesiology will also be accepted. A background in fields that provide a foundation in the specific subject matter is required.  165 Day Contract

Scott Campus - Business - Minimum Qualifications:   Master’s degree in Business or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in business or business administration.  Knowledge of entrepreneurship or experience with business ownership or management is preferred.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.  165 Day Contract

Scott Campus - Chemistry - Minimum Qualifications:  Master of Science degree in Chemistry or a Master of Science degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in chemistry.  Graduate coursework in astronomy, geology, meteorology, and physics which would allow instruction in physical sciences is preferred.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.  165  Day Contract

Multi Campus – CNA/ Nursing - Minimum Qualifications:  Unencumbered current licensure as a registered nurse in Iowa prior to teaching.  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.  Master’s Degree with a major in nursing preferred, or shall make annual progress towards attainment of such degree upon hire.  Two years’ experience in clinical nursing required with one year in Long Term Care preferred.  Must maintains competence in clinical nursing. Community College.  165 Day Contract

Muscatine Campus – Criminal Justice & Sociology -  Minimum Qualifications:  Master's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice or a master's degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Sociology. A master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology, and Criminology. Formal training and professional experience in criminal investigation is preferred.  165 Day Contract

Scott Campus - Culinary -  Minimum Qualifications:  Associates degree in Culinary Arts, or 8 years as a journeyman chef (Executive).  Teaching experience preferred.  Must have working knowledge or involvement with apprenticeship training programs and qualified to teach the business focused courses within culinary.  Chef must be available before and after hours to handle apprenticeship and program/college related events as needed.  165 Day Contract

Muscatine Campus - English - Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s degree in English or MFA (English) or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a combination of Creative Writing, Journalism, Literature, Technical Writing and/or English Education.  Training and experience in teaching ALP (Accelerated Learning Program) co-requisite College Readiness/Composition I preferred.  Demonstrated ability to work with diverse students with a wide range of skills and abilities is required.  Experience with ELL/ESL students is preferred.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.  165 Day Contract

Clinton Campus – English Composition/Literature -  Minimum Qualifications:  Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Literature and 18 graduate hours in English is required.  165 Day Contract

Clinton Campus - IT Programming - Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree in web design/development or related computer programing (appropriate work experience may meet this qualification).  Associates degree in web design/development or computer programming field, with three years of recent and successful work experience in web design/development or computer programming required.  Ability to teach Programming Language courses, particularly in these areas; C#, NET programming; Java, and programming logic.  Demonstrate proficiency in: Windows and Mac OS, HTML, CSS, PHP, Node.js, Photoshop, Illustrator, SQL, ASP.Net(C# or VB), Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Swift (IOS) and Office related products.  Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, web development and mobile development preferred.  165 Day Contract

Scott Campus - Math -  Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Math or Math Education required.  Master’s degree in Math Education with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Math preferred.  Demonstrated ability to work with diverse students with a wide range of skills and abilities is required.  Experience teaching developmental math courses is required.  Experience teaching developmental math using a modularized/Emporium model is preferred.  Experience teaching math using MyMathLab or MathXL is preferred.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.  165 Day Contract

Muscatine Campus - Med Assistant - Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting or a related health field. Must hold a credential in medical assisting and be in good standing with the accrediting agency. Credential must be recognized by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). One of the following credentials is required: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA) or CMAC (AMCA). Six thousand hours of work experience in a healthcare facility, including 160 hours in an ambulatory healthcare setting performing or observing administrative and clinical procedures performed by medical assistants. Formal teacher training and professional teaching experience preferred.  165  Day Contract

Scott Campus- Philosophy & Humanities - Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Philosophy or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Philosophy with additional graduate-level coursework in the Humanities.  Knowledge of ethics and logic is preferred.  Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.  165 Day Contract

Muscatine Campus - Psychology -Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s Degree Psychology or a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology (all types), Counseling, Behavioral Studies, Human Development, Human Services, Psychiatry, Studies in Human Behavior, and Psychology Education. Twelve hours must be in Psychology and/or Counseling. Community College teaching or training experience is preferred.  165 Day Contract
