Job Details
The Department of Sociology and Human Services at The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Limited Term Faculty of Human Services. This position is for one (1) year. The HSDA program offers a generalist approach to the field of human services and provides applied training within a rigorous academic setting. The program is accredited by the Council for Standards in Human Services Education (CSHSE).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:- The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to diversity and social justice and will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for our Human Services Program.
Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
PhD in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology or Counseling at the time of appointment. Related fields not listed may also be considered. All applicants must have applied experience in the area of Human Services. Areas of expertise are open, but we are particularly interested in candidates who can provide clinical supervision of practicum student and who have experience (or are open to) teaching on-line.
Preferred Qualifications: Some combination of the following qualifications is preferred:
- A proven commitment to both graduate and undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment.
- Experience with clinical supervision.
