The Department of Biological Sciences at The University of Alabama seeks an instructor for a 9-month non-tenure track position. The appointment will be on a three-year renewable contract, subject to annual review, with opportunities for teaching additional courses during summer semesters. The successful applicant will teach Introductory Biology and Anatomy and Physiology laboratories as well as assist with all aspects of teaching laboratory coordination within the department. Other teaching duties associated with Introductory Biology and Anatomy and Physiology courses may be required. In addition, the position includes an expectation of participation in academic advising of Biology majors. Applicants must hold a minimum of an M.S. degree in Biology or related disciplines and have at least 3 years of teaching experience.
