DESCRIPTIONThe Rady School of Management provides business education through its PhD program, Masters degree programs, undergraduate minors and courses, and executive business seminars. The staff who work at the Rady School have created a highly participatory, high energy, upbeat environment where providing excellent customer service to our students and our faculty is a priority.Under the direction of the UCSD Rady School of Management's Chief Technology Officer, the Web Developer/Salesforce Administrator 2 executes the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the Rady School of Management's CRM and Business Intelligence platforms. This position designs, develops and maintains the Rady School of Management’s new SalesForce and TargetX platforms.
This position leads small projects, interacts with managers, faculty, technical and non-technical staff, leads project meetings, solicits user feedback, develops specs, negotiates timeframes and deliverables, and reports on project progress. The position creates customized fields, extracts data & creates reports, builds out applications and works with leaders to build out new processes.
Other non-platform specific tasks include more general requirements analysis and development related to supporting the Rady School of Management’s full complement of applications which consists primarily of applications written in C#, that support underlying business operations.
This position also plans, designs, develops, implements and administers data-based systems that acquire, prepare, store, and provide access to data and metadata. Ensures integrity and completeness of data and workflow; manages and/or develops data practices, databases, and information systems as well as guidelines, dictionaries, registries, and/or services.
This position is part of a upbeat, team oriented general IT staff and serves as a professional resource on technical matters for the UCSD Rady School of Management IT Help Desk.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required (rare).

Thorough experience with MS Visual Studio and MS development products. Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications.
Strong understanding of SalesForce.com and TargetX platforms, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views and other content of intermediate complexity.
Strong understanding of SalesForce.com best practices and functionality. Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on SalesForce.com and TargetX.
Experience leading projects of small to medium complexity (i.e. identify scope of project, estimate timelines & milestones). Project management and organizational skills; ability to adapt to changing priorities and changing deadlines.
Strong knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards and best practices. Fluency in information technologies, including high level of proficiency and understanding with data mapping, data mining and statistical software.
Demonstrated data analysis skills, including high proficiency and understanding with data mapping and data mining.
Strong knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools such as Tableau and Cognos.
Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation. Ability to use dashboard intelligence platforms (i.e., IBM Cognos, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server), enterprise performance management software, and other analytical technologies. Experience with complex spreadsheets, tables, graphs, and PowerPoint slides.
Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) to group, analyze, and transform data. Ability to generate moderately complex reports/tables using diverse data sets within RDMS environments.
