RITE Care Center. The Clinical Coordinator provides leadership and management of the Rite Care Center for Communication Disorders and its affiliated programs across the campus and surrounding community.
Essential Functions
•Provides clinical instruction/supervision of graduate students in accordance with ASHA/CAA standards.
•Reviews and evaluates performance of clinical instructors and administrative staff.
•Screens requests for clinical services.
•Oversees scheduling and assigning clients to clinical instructors & graduate students.
•Establishes and implements policies and procedures.
•Collaborates with the program in promoting optimal clinical education for students across the curriculum.
•Assists in clinical evidence-based practice (EBP) program development and clinical education.
Georgia Southern University is a Tobacco Free Campus.
Minimum Education RequiredMaster’s Degree; certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; eligible to obtain Georgia SLP licensure

Preferred EducationA minimum of eight years of clinical experience with at least five years of clinical instruction/supervision experience; working knowledge of ASHA/CAA standards; experience managing clinical professionals and support staff experience with fiscal management
