The UNC System Office located in Chapel Hill, NC invites applications for the position of Vice President for Student Affairs. The Vice President for Student Affairs reports to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and is a key member of the Academic Affairs senior leadership team. The Office of the Vice President is responsible for executing the policies of the UNC Board of Governors and providing system-wide leadership over the breadth of student affairs functions across the university system including admissions, counseling, financial aid, residential life, and student health. The Vice President supports the universities by bringing them together to address critical issues impacting student success and to discuss the development and administration of university, state, and federal policies and regulations. The Office of the Vice President also provides management for numerous student-related programs. The Vice President works collaboratively with leaders at the UNC System Office as well as with the academic leaders from the seventeen institutions across the University of North Carolina System to accomplish the goals of the System.

The Vice President for Student Affairs supervises the following direct reports:
• Associate Vice President for Student Affairs
• Business Process Analyst-Financial Aid (assists system institutions with financial aid reporting)
• Director, College Foundation of North Carolina Pathways
• Director of Student Development
