POSITION: Social Work Adjunct Instructor(s) for Practice and Theory Course Opening
POSITION DETAIL & RESPONSIBILITIES:The EMU Social Work Program in the Department of Applied Social Science is recruiting candidate(s) to provide adjunct instruction in social work in the 2019-2020 school year. The EMU social work program is CSWE accredited. This is an opportunity for an experienced social work practitioner to share practice expertise with new social workers using established resources for the classroom. Candidate will build college teaching experience and refresh their own knowledge for practice. One course opening in fall and one course opening in spring semesters.
QUALIFICATIONS: MSW degree and minimum of 2 years practice experience is required. Preferred candidates will be ABD or possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, OR possess a MSW degree with advanced practice experience, licensure in social work and/or previous college teaching experience in the discipline.
