The Department of German and Russian Studies at the College of Charleston invites applications for a one-year full-time Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor in German, starting August 16, 2019. The position is benefits-eligible, the salary is competitive, and the teaching load is 4/4.

We are seeking a dynamic instructor who is able to teach German language at all undergraduate levels, in combination with courses in English translation. Native or near-native command of German and English is required. Preferred candidate will hold a Ph.D. in German Studies or a related area (ABD or MA with college teaching experience considered). Title and salary commensurate with level of credentials.
