The Campus President is a visionary, innovative leader that is continuously improving campus programming and operations to serve the needs of our student population. The Campus President is committed to the college-wide vision and mission, and is able to effectively communicate that mission and vision to internal and external stakeholders. The position is accountable for key outcomes related to the strategic leadership of a campus, serves as the head of the campus management team, and is a member of the College leadership team, aligning campus goals and activities to the overall mission and vision of the College.

  • Leads the development and is accountable for the execution and related outcomes of the campus strategic plan that is aligned with the overall college mission, vision and strategic plan
  • Plans, develops, implements and executes a campus enrollment and productivity framework that is aligned with overall college enrollment and productivity goals
  • Establishes the development and implementation of innovative, high quality educational programs and support programs with a focus on programs tied to local workforce needs
  • Enhances, develops and implements campus-based, student centered academic and support services to promote student success and completion
  • Provides leadership in long-range institutional and statewide strategic planning, campus resource development and fundraising
  • Consults and negotiates with administrative officials and representatives of business communities, and civic groups to promote educational, research and public service objectives and policies of the institution as formulated by Board of Trustees
  • Oversees all academic/administrative functions of a college campus including but not limit to: operational procedures and activities governing students, faculty and staff, campus fiscal and physical planning and implementation of the collective bargaining agreement
  • Serves as the chief campus spokesperson on policy matters
  • Maintains a comprehensive program of equal opportunity/affirmative actions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Doctorate degree and ten (10) years of senior level administrative and managerial experience required in an higher education environment
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Strong leadership skills that promote dedication, integrity, creativity, innovation and growth and accountability
