    Researches and disseminates information from documents, the Internet and databases to support grant proposal development Researches and disseminates grantor priorities Researches and disseminates grant-related data Researches and disseminates information about federal, state, local and private grant-funding opportunities Edits and revises grant proposals Submits grant proposals online and in hard copy Develops technical documents which may include forms and basic grant proposals Assists in the Board Item preparation process Enters and maintains grant information in a database system Participates in local, state, regional and national workshops, conferences and meetings

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience; or Master's degree and one (1) year of experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and proceduresKnowledge and skill in technical writing, proof-reading, editing, copy writing, grant writing or equivalent written communication format Ability to multitask in a time-sensitive atmosphere Possess an excellent command of the English language Ability to work with individuals in a diplomatic fashion Ability to work with minimal supervision Possess good organizational skills and extreme attention to detail Ability to coordinate overlapping projects and deadlines Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
