Job Summary/Basic Function

Maryville University is looking to hire an Operations Manager for our thriving Online Graduate Nursing program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining appropriate online faculty documentation and training requirements. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a welcoming environment for a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Create and track online faculty contract requests
•Collect and maintain online adjunct faculty transcripts and resumes
•Assist in online adjunct faculty orientation
•Assist in the monitoring of faculty online presence, grading and office hours
•Assist in faculty scheduling
•Monitor online classroom activity by students and faculty using direct observation and summary reports for compliance with minimum performance standards, University policies, and accreditation standards
•Prepare summary and analysis of classroom activity with appropriate reports
•Provide ongoing feedback on information processing and automated reporting mechanisms to improve instructional efficiency and effectiveness
•Collaborate closely with online faculty to identify minimum performance standard deficiencies
•Collaborate with external partners
•Provide technical training to ensure that every faculty member is involved in a positive educational experience in online community

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
•Minimum of two years administrative experience
•Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and database programs and the ability to learn new computer programs
•Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
•Knowledge of online higher education
•Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Preferred Qualifications

•Master’s degree in business or related field
•Administrative experience in online higher education
