Job Description

Part-time faculty on the SAN ANTONIO campus. The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate survey courses in US history, pre- and post-1865. Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments are all in face-to-face format and may include day or night classes.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in History, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.
  • 18 graduate hours in History, or similar field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College or University teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience with teaching lower-division U.S. History classes preferred.
  • Experience with hands-on teaching techniques preferred.
  • Experience in culturally diverse settings preferred.
  • Completed Ph.D. in History preferred.
