Gillette College is accepting applications for a part-time (adjunct) Electrical Instructor to teach in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program (ELAP).

Reports ToDean of Career & Technical EducationEducation/Qualifications

Must be a Wyoming Journeyman (or Master) Electrician (or have a similar background in construction, engineering or code compliance) and be committed to helping Apprentice Electricians advance in the trade to become Journeymen.

Must be comfortable with personal computers in order to use classroom technology and administer coursework and grading etc.

Teaching experience is not required.

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements

Class meets either Monday or Tuesday evenings (6-8:30 pm) in the fall and spring semesters. Each semester is 16 weeks long.

Expect two-four hours of preparation and administration time out-of-class per week.
