Adjunct Instructor - Human Nutrition

Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.

Job Summary and Description

Adjunct faculty teach courses in Human Nutrition including planning, preparation and delivery of lecture/lab instructional materials at all levels of training. Faculty members also participate in curriculum development and student advising.

Education and Experience:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree, from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning, in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Exercise Physiology, or a related field

Current Registered Dietician certification

Preferred:

Master’s Degree, from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning, in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Human Development and Family Studies, Exercise Physiology or a related field

Current CPR/AED certification

Teaching experience at the College or Community College level
