Assistant Director of Academic Programs, Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies Northeastern Illinois University The Assistant Director of Academic Programs will manage all aspects of the freshman cohort and summer programming, and will support the operations of other academic programming at the Carruthers Center. He/she will work closely to program directors and staff to ensure appropriate course scheduling and will collaborate with staff on planning and executing recruitment and orientation activities. The Assistant Director will work with advisors to ensure all students meet program and/or degree requirements.

The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree and 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in program management. Experience in academic or student affairs administration in a higher education setting is required. Supervisory experience is strongly desired. The position requires effective written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to set priorities, and meet required deadlines and goals.
