The Department of Bioengineering is currently accepting applications for an instructor for a variety of existing laboratory courses, including biomedical instrumentation courses. The position will require a full-time focus on laboratory and classroom teaching and might offer the opportunity to create a new lecture or laboratory course in the future. Full consideration will be given to applications received by April 7, 2019, but applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled. A start date of July 2019 is expected.
This is a one-year appointment, targeted for relatively new instructors. However, more experienced instructors are also encouraged to apply. All applications will be considered.

Education Required PhD or other Doctoral Degree Specify Concentration / Degree TypeBioengineering or related field.
Education PreferredPhD in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other closely related engineering discipline
Other Required QualificationsExperience with classroom or lab class teaching or serving as a teaching assistant at the university level; teaching or significant TA experience in an undergraduate engineering program; candidate should have done coursework/research involving fundamental engineering topics.
